Here we go!

Yesterday was day 1, of the P2, Simeons protocol. the first two days on HCG, are called "load" days. On these two days, you are to eat as much high fat foods as you can force into your body. The purpose of this is to open the "fat cell gates" ( so to speak) and build up a reserve for you to start out on, so you will not feel hunger during the first week of the 500 low calorie diet while the HCG takes effect.

Whoo-hoo! Kind of a last hurrah....all the burgers, ice cream, cheese and any other high fat food you can get your hands on and manage to eat right? Yep...good for the first few hours, then you start feeling like a stuffed pig before the luau...lol. By the end of last night, it was all I could do to force 2 cheeseburgers down and call it a day.

This am, I got up and was NOT hungry. I dreaded the thought of having to do this all over again. I ate some bacon for breakfast, then couldn't stomach any more. By 11:00, I managed to get a dbl big mac, fries and a couple of macadamia nut cookies down. uggg. I didn't even like Mickey D's before this diet. Then onto cheese, cheesecake, ice cream, macaroni salad, cheese and crackers, peanut butter sandwich and more ice cream. I am going to die and blow up...that is the real diet, I am thinking...you blow up. At this point, I am looking forward to the 500 calorie diet, and could care less about ice cream ever again...lol. Then the phone rings at dinnertime. It's my girls, wanting to go out for dinner....my last chance for quite awhile. Sigh. Gotta do it. Now normally I would be ecstatic about the option of going to Outback for dinner. I sit down and look at the menu..and nothing looks good at this point. But I manage to get down a steak and shrimp and loaded baker. Now...I can't breath, and feel like I am as pregnant as my daughter. No dessert! No way, Jose. Thank goodness I am done until tomorrow. I never thought I would look forward to the world of dieting..but I am sooooo ready for tomorrow!

I have done all my shopping for teas, spices (your friend), allowed meats, fruits, and veggies. I have made dressings, chicken bouillon, weighed out and frozen my meats. Ready I am...let's go lose!
